About Nora

Living in Richmond, Nora has spent the majority of her life in the Yorkshire Dales.
Her love of nature and heritage has inspired her work. This shows in her deep understanding of the colour, light and atmosphere of landscapes and buildings.
Much of her work takes place out of doors and captures the feeling of magic which she finds in the landscape. Her watercolour paintings reflect the drama of the countryside.

She has exhibited regularly over the past 20 years, winning various awards for her paintings.
Primarily she works with watercolours 'en plein air' but in her Richmond studio she enjoys working in Egg Tempera and Intaglio printing.
Her gallery and studio are idyllically situated on the western  outskirts of Richmond, where she is happy to accept visitors by prior arrangement.
